Job Title: Master Black Belt

Location: Florida, on the Panhandle

Job Description:
Develop and maintain the process improvement program, including performance assessment, benchmarking, Lean Principles and DMAIC, uniform performance measurements and visual management and control system requirements, project definition and selection, management of the improvement process and all activities related to achieving the objects of Multiflex’s Operational Excellence strategy. Ability to be strong change agent with excellent people skills.

• Establish and maintain process improvement (Lean, DMAIC, CQI and LHPT) training content, scheduling, logistics and the certification process.
• Recommend project selection guidelines at the site level and participate in their selection, resourcing and implementation.
• Responsible for solution development (DMAIC, SMED, Visual Factory, TPM, measurements, LHPT, 5S).
• Partner with Engineering and Sales.
• Facilitate and Lead large performance improvement projects.
• Manages subordinate employees in the site Operational Excellence Department.

Job Requirements:

• Experience with Manufacturing operations, engineering or quality.
• Establish and maintain process improvement (Lean, DMAIC, CQI and LHPT).
• Strong Lean Six Sigma tools including TPI, QFD, Value Engineering, Kaizens, DFSS and DMAIC.
• Strong leadership abilities a must!!
• Must be extremely passionate about Lean/Six Sigma and have examples of significant savings in your background.
• Must be self motivated.
• Must strive for CQI in all aspects.
• Excellent Problem solver.
• Must have outstanding interpersonal skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Leadership experience of 5-10 years in a supply chain, operations, engineering or quality role.
• Experience with Operational Excellence and Lean SS system tools (Minitab, Moresteam, project tracking)
• MBB, Lean Master or BB certification a MUST.
• Must have conducted several kaizen events.
