What we're looking for:

Looking for a Master Black Belt who is expected to use the Lean-Six Sigma Strategy to increase customer satisfaction and increase the bottom line of the division assigned; lead divisional cost reduction and process improvement projects; to coach trained Green Belts and Black Belts to the successful execution of projects leading to certification and to teach and improve the Six Sigma Curriculum. This is an exceptional opportunity to work with the executive leadership team, have an impact on strategic decisions and establish a reputation for exceptional performance with a career goal of moving into an operations position in 3-5 years. Travel is required and is on average 4 days per week; position will be based in Norcross,GA or close to a plant in the assigned division.

What you will be doing:

-Ensure the integrity of the process, tools, data and individual are never compromised and are used to drive business results. Help develop a culture of data based decision making in the company.
-Collaborate with Divisional Leadership to identify projects and develop strategies that effectively utilize the Lean-Six Sigma Methodology and maximize the effectiveness of available resources (Full-Time Black Belts, Part-Time Black Belts and Green Belts) as part of the overall business strategy.
-Drive and sustain results focused on Voice of Customer and improving the bottom line. Identify, communicate and quickly leverage best practices across the organization.
-Manage complex projects and participate as a key member of project review teams.
-Assist in the selection, training, coaching and effectiveness of Six Sigma personnel based on number of projects completed, cycle time and associated financial benefits; help assure adequate link of Six Sigma roles to performance evaluation, reward and recognition.
-Help to build and teach the BB and GB curriculum; Identify, deploy and leverage useful, robust statistical approaches and tools not currently in use.


Job Requirements:
-Bachelors degree in Engineering (ME, EE, ChemE, MET, IE, Packaging or Paper Science/Engineering). Masters preferred.
-Working knowledge of EAM and CMMS software.
-Certified Black Belt with a demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams that drive business results and make data-based decisions using the Lean/Six Sigma Methodology.
-High level of integrity and professionalism that commands respect from management, peers and direct reports.
-Demonstrates a passion and sense of urgency for executing performance improvement projects and leveraging best practices across the organization.
-Demonstrated leader who can effectively challenge, influence and build consensus at all levels of the organization from the plant floor to the board room.
-Technical expert in the Lean-Six Sigma methodology and associated statistical tools
-Demonstrated ability to use, teach and coach others on statistical, analytical, facilitation and change acceleration tools.
-Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills (verbal and written).
-Sets and achieves challenging breakthrough goals for self, projects, BBs and GBs
