Job Description:

The Mission Integration Business Unit currently has an opening for a Senior Program Management/Process Improvement Consultant. JOB DESCRIPTION: The SAIC Team provides onsite support to the DNI Special Security Center (SSC). The SSC Director is the co-Chair of the Joint DNI-DoD Security and Suitability Clearance Reform Team whose mission is to achieve a comprehensive reform of the end-to-end clearance process delivering high-assurance security clearances efficiently and at the lowest reasonable cost; develop security for today’s needs based on a risk management philosophy, not merely focused on efficiencies and process improvement of the status quo; challenge existing Statutes and Executive Orders – recommend changes that enable the delivery of the new streamlined process; and deliver a transformed, modernized, and reciprocal security clearance process that is universally applicable to DoD, Intelligence Community (IC), and other US Government agency communities. Working with a more junior colleage, the Senior Program Management/Process Improvement Consultant will assist in developing the new governance structure in support of clearance reform; facilitate discussions in reform team meetings where innovation and creation of new strategies can be applied to reformed clearance structure; capture new requirements and action items that result from reform team meetings and identifying issues requiring leadership team decisions; developing reform team briefings for leadership team to present at government and industry forums; developing responses to inquiries from senior administration officials and congress on security clearance reform; and integrate the activities among the It, policy, and demonstration teams for clearance reform.

Job Requirements:
Demonstrated ability to conduct critical thinking and strategically analyze problems, conduct independent research, filter and synthesize information and data, summarize findings succinctly, and present logical arguments. Familiarity with all applicable security regulations and policies. Possess a college degree, preferably a post graduate degree, plus a minimum of two years experience with a strong background in business analysis and process improvement techniques and demonstrated ability to use information technology to support collaboration. TS/SCI clearance with CI polygraph is required. DESIRED SKILLS: LEAN Six SIGMA certified.
