Job Description:

Neutrogena Corporation Inc. is seeking a Team Leader to lead a Production team, managing all aspects of manufacturing and human resources issues. This individual will manage day-to-day Manufacturing and Process Engineering. This individual will also works with Business Unit Managers to understand the strategies for the upcoming year, lead and direct process improvement activities, and serve as acting Business unit manager when appropriate. The Team Leader will conduct department meetings, ensure production teams meet Labor Efficiency and Schedule Attainment goals, and manage operation/process improvement projects. This individual will monitor and takes action to maintain labor, scrap, data integrity, schedule attainment, quality, up time, run time, cycle time, and housekeeping. Additionally, this individual will initiate or suggest plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals, provide direction for new team leads and group leads and drive continuous improvement through entire production process to meet Customer Service objectives (98% line fill rate) without compromising product quality or employee safety.

The Team Leader is responsible for module budget, suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of shop, department, work crew, and maintains time and production records. This individual reports machine and equipment malfunctions to maintenance personnel, develops capital expense forecasts and budgets to support business needs and provides variance analysis and corrective actions.

Job Requirements:
This candidate will have a minimum of a Bachelors Degree. Previous manufacturing experience is preferred. Experience managing people is preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Office is required. SAP Software experience is preferred. Experience with Six Sigma/Process Excellence Tools, Training and/or Certification is also preferred. Technical Writing and Project Management experience is preferred. It is preferred that the candidate has experience managing shift work in a 24 hour manufacturing facility. Experience in a Consumer Products Environment is preferred. Experience in Distribution, Transportation, and/or Raw Materials Planning is also preferred.

The ideal candidate will be self-driven and self-managed, with a people management background. This candidate will be able to handle multiple deliverables while achieving the company's goals as they pertain to Labor Efficiency, Cost Improvement Projects, Cycle Time Optimization, Compliance and Credo results.
